Over the past two years, Solstice has built a community of friends, family and loyal diners. When we opened our doors, we set out to provide seasonally-forward food that was thoughtfully prepared, and dedicated to quality, craft and freshness.
If you have followed along in our journey, you know that we celebrate the season as much as we celebrate its change. Today with a heavy heart, we’re stepping into that change as we share the news of our closing.
We feel full with gratitude that we were able to help celebrate milestones and create memories at our establishment. It has been nothing short of a privilege to have had the opportunity to serve you. Thank you, Newtown, it’s been our pleasure to be a part of this community!

We have a passion for seasonally-inspired food and unparalleled service. Exquisite textures, invigorating scents, and sumptuous layers of flavor – all served in an inviting social atmosphere. Our brunch, dinner, and dessert menus rotate every season – winter, spring, summer, and fall – highlighting ingredients from around the country when they are at their peak.
Dedicated to the season, our Solstice cocktails are on rotation as well. Our unique Zero Proof Un-Cocktail selection includes vitamin-packed aloe juice as a spirit substitution. A comprehensive wine list features well known sought-after labels along with some unique award-winning finds we know you’ll love to explore.
PRIVATE EVENTS & GROUP DINING
Solstice Newtown is the perfect location to host your event from, family celebrations and social engagements to business meetings, Solstice’s signature attentive service and consistent, chef-driven cuisine will ensure a memorable event.
Our group dining spaces accommodate from 15 to 75 guests for a seated dinner. The restaurant is also available to reserve in its entirety and can accommodate up to 125 guests for a seated dinner or 175 guests for standing style receptions.
