Solstice Cares Community Fund

On March 15, just one week after our grand opening, Solstice restaurant was forced to close its doors to adhere to government mandates surrounding COVID-19.  Over the past month, we have kept our team home and supported them by providing weekly meals for pickup.  We have been carefully monitoring the developing recommended safety measures with a view towards reopening and bringing our staff back to work, while always keeping safety as our first priority.

Now, nearly a month later, Solstice has decided to reopen its doors, for takeout and delivery, and in an effort to not only want to be a great partner for our new and growing Solstice community, but also for our extended community – those that are working tirelessly to bring us one step closer to “normal.”

As such, we have created the Solstice Cares Community Fund.  This fund will help feed doctors, nurses and hospital workers at Capital Health Hopewell, Regional Medical Trenton and Lower Bucks Hospitals’ COVID-19 emergency units.  For every $400 donated to our fund, Solstice will prepare 100 meals for these heroic frontline workers. In order to kickstart the fund, local owners, Terry and Anna, and their son, Rick Darby, have contributed $400 in order to get the first round of 100 frontline worker meals served. Moving forward, Solstice will pledge $1 from every to-go order to the fund.

We know it is only by coming together that we can get through these trying times.  Thank you, Bucks County, for showing your support!
